toys of the 1970s were so much fun!

Ever thought of going back to the 1970s and remembered all the toys that you used to play with?

I know that I have. There were some fantastic toys at the time. Why not take a trip down memory lane and will remind you of some of them.

WACKY TOYS:

A mucus green slime-like substance that is used to get anywhere-yuck-green goo!

Shrinky Dink-these were fun-li cutting, colour them in, put them in the oven and watch them to shrink.

Silly Putty-Weird stuff-bounce it, snap it, extend it. You can even use it to copy the pictures from the card!

OUTDOOR TOYS:

Space Hopper-a large orange inflatable ball with a manic grin and horns for handles. I remember bouncing on one of these!

HackySack-Keepsie-upsies how can you do? A ball of cloth that kicked
around with friends

TeatherBall-a ball, a rope and a stick. You may play this for hours.

ELECTRONIC TOYS:

Simon-the final game of the 1970s. Electronic noise making, memory game.

Etch-a-Sketch-Dial dials them and create images groovy!

Tin Can Alley-Crazy and shoot them. Point the gun, fire and watch that can jump.

TABLE GAMES:

Clue-remember Mr Scarlet in the kitchen with the candle?

Operation-tickled your funny bone! Great medical malarkey!

Mousetrap-Amazing design, even if you don't get caught in a mousetrap!

These are just some of the toys that playing with I remember as a kid. They were really very funny. What's surprising is that most of them are still commercially available and make great gifts for kids and adults who grew up during the 1970s. What could be better than receiving a present that he remembers fondly from childhood?
