Encourage your children with educational toys, games and puzzles

The market for educational toys, puzzles, games and continues to grow. This growth can be attributed to lower the cost of electronics parts, shelf space, and an increasing demand for educational value in toys, to parents. In the global market reached US $ 1.7 billion in 2005 and is estimated at over $ 5 billion by 2010. Twenty years ago I had an educational game called icyboy. It was shaped like a robot. You put a card in the front and played a matching game. The paper, however, was only a piece of plastic and no matter what card was icyboy that answers were the same, so it wasn't long before I need the cards to get a perfect score. Educational toys have come a long way since then.

Children have a natural desire to learn this and before the child begins to become smarter. Each toy can be described as educational if it is used to promote the game in a meaningful way. Play with educational toys, games or puzzles is one of the means that help children to establish contact with the world we live in, especially during childhood. A good example would be a toy train set. Interacting with trains will hand-eye coordination and mastering of small movements. Encourage the awareness of cause and effect. Toys not only teach cognitive skills, they motivate the child play and encourage the child's natural creativity and imagination.

However, it is not sufficient alone to hand the child the toy and leave them alone. This is no better than just setting them in front of the television. Parents should take the "magical learning experience" together if the toy is to have any real value. No matter what developmental toys like play with your young, playing with you is more important for their development. It is in your participation in the reproduction that determines the benefit of a toy that is specific to the child who is playing with it.

It is important to focus on your child's needs for physical and emotional development. You should look for toys that can help them to grow in those areas. For example, a child needs toys that can help you learn to reach out and grasp, to encourage the learning of hand-eye coordination. For smaller, however, need toys that can wrap around with them as they explore the world around them. Toy laptops and cell phones are valuable for children as an aid to imaginative game. Look for toys that did not stifle the imagination of a child. Too often, electronic toys simply encourage button pushing rather than stimulate the child to learn and explore (like the toy icyboy I spoke). With electronic toys, interaction is the key. Also, avoid toys that can be easily lost or broken. Children playing sometimes rough and if he breaks the first fall then was a bad investment.

Most of all, children want to have fun. So try to educational toys that are fun for your baby, fun for you and stimulate their mind.
